The Nevada Environmental Health Association (NvEHA)
- Provides an opportunity for persons active or interested in the field of environmental or public health to share knowledge and experiences in order to protect and promote public, environmental and personal health.
- Provides environmental health leadership in Nevada by identifying its needs and problems.
- Seeks solutions to Nevada’s environmental health issues to improve the well being of all Nevadans.
- Provides education opportunities for our members and recognize those who have contributed the most to our efforts.
- Functions as an affiliate of the National Environmental Health Association by supporting and contributing to their work.
The Nevada Environmental Health Association is led by a volunteer executive council that is elected by the membership every other year. Serving on the executive council provides leadership opportunity, conference planning experience, and a trip to the National Environmental Health Association’s Annual Educational Conference.
